The lodge is situated at an elevation of 7,000 feet among Kyle Canyons. You can also rent cabins via Airbnb or other third party services and make a weekend out of it.
Hike Calico Tanks Trail
The Calico Tanks Trail is located 16 miles outside of Las Vegas Red Rock Canyon and is a great hiking trail for groups. The trail is around 2.5 miles and is open to all ages and levels of experience. This trail features remarkable views of Las Vegas and it’s surrounding beauty. Lake Las Vegas refers to a 320-acre (130 ha) artificial lake and the 3,592-acre (1,454 ha) developed area around the lake.
